From new gender-based pricing, to in-force premium increases, consumers have a lot of questions related to LTC insurance. 

Although carriers do their best to explain the reasons behind the changes, often multi-carrier distributors can be a more unbiased source of information on the changes.  Here's an article from the Society of Actuaries LTC journal discussing how these changes are viewed by the public and messaging that can work.
