Tom Riekse

Tom Riekse is the Managing Director of LTCI Partners, a national brokerage agency specializing in long-term care planning solutions.

Tom entered the long-term care insurance industry in 1991 when he and his parents founded one of the nation's earliest brokerage agencies dedicated exclusively to long-term care insurance. Inspired by his family's firsthand experience with the financial and emotional impact of long-term care, Tom has spent more than three decades helping financial advisors, employers, and consumers prepare for one of life's most significant retirement risks.

LTCI Partners was formed in 2001 from a merger with a friendly regional competitor.  Since then, LTCI Partners has expanded nationally to serve advisors, employers, and consumers in all 50 states.  LTCI Partners was acquired by NFP, and AON company in 2016.

Throughout his career, Tom has witnessed the evolution of the long-term care marketplace from traditional nursing home-focused insurance products to today's broader range of planning solutions, including hybrid life and annuity-based products. He is passionate about educating advisors and consumers on the importance of planning for future care needs through industry presentations, articles, interviews, and educational programs.

Tom's commitment to long-term care extends beyond insurance. After seeing the challenges of Alzheimer's disease firsthand with his mother and the positive impact that thoughtful planning can have on families, he became actively involved in supporting long-term care communities. He believes every American deserves access to quality, dignified care and the opportunity to plan ahead for their future.

When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog in Northern Michigan.
