Nancy Dykeman

Nancy has been a licensed insurance producer for over 20 years.  Prior to that Nancy served as Funeral Director and co-owner of a family-owned funeral services company in northeast Iowa. Nancy began her career in 1985 as a care provider for an independent living and nursing home community. Nancy became a licensed nursing home administrator in 1989, operating large retirement communities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Nancy was a caregiver for her mother for 20 years, her father for five years, her husband for several months, and a daughter, who survived cancer.   

Nancy has been recognized nationally as a premier educator in the LTC field; a core instructor for The Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification (CLTC) since 2003, a former Chairman of the Board on the CLTC Board of Standards, and a faculty member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) from 2006-2013. Nancy was selected as a national presenter for The Women's Project for Long-Term Care, providing education on this women's issue, and a speaker with the Federal Long-Term Care Program in 2001. 

Nancy’s goal is to prepare families for the physical, emotional, and financial consequences of needing care or providing care.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?  

My best gardening is early morning and my best time to focus on work is noon to 7:00 pm.

Our Granddaughters live next door and we are very included in their wonderful lives.
