| Training/Lapse Guidelines |
Refresher must be taken at the end of each license renewal period. Lapse in training is allowed *Lincoln considers TN to be a 24 month state, not license renewal. No exception will be made per compliance as of 4-11-25 Resident Producer Exemption: Resident producers who have been continuously licensed since 1/1/1994 are EXEMPT from Refresher training, but must still complete the original 8 hour training. (See Tennessee LTC Training Guidelines located under "State Training Guidelines" below) As of 6/17/16 - this only applies if the advisor is writing in his resident state of TN. If he decides to write in a reciprocal state (i.e., Florida), he will have to take the 4 hour refresher to be in compliance for Florida's CE rules. |
