LTC TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Initial Long Term Care Training

Effective 7/25/2026, Oklahoma producers are no longer required to satisfy mandatory LTCI training in the state, which was originally effective on 7/14/2008.

As Oklahoma no longer has a training requirement in place, courses taken for Oklahoma credit after 8/31/2026 will no longer be valid toward the training requirements of the 42 states that have one in effect based on the 2006 LTCI Model Act. Producers are admonished to take future refresher training in one of those states. LTCI course completions will be valid for continuing education credit only.

If a resident advisor writes a case in another state, they need to take the training for that state!  See examples below:
