Yes – they “get it” and understand the issue of Long-Term Care.  As we experience this demographic shift, many employees are dealing with this issue first-hand (parents or grandparents).  Recent studies have shown that nearly 20% of the American workforce is caring for a loved one while working full-time.  That means there’s an impact on businesses too (absenteeism, presenteeism, replacing valued employees, etc.).  This recent LIMRA study looked at employers & employees perceptions on this issue.  Their findings did not surprise us – more and more employers are looking to help employees plan for Long-Term Care.  It’s time to give Group LTC Insurance a 1st look or 2nd chance.
