To all of our valued agents and distribution partners:


We know you appreciate open and honest communications and one of our primary goals is keeping you fully informed about doing business with LifeSecure. 

 

With that in mind, we are writing to ask for your patience and understanding over the next couple of months as we are experiencing some longer-than-anticipated delays in our underwriting and policy issuance processes. We sincerely apologize for any delay in your business. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to reduce these temporary delays.

The delays are related to two situations:  

  1. Very strong growth in new business sales; and 
  2. A transitionary period as we implement new positive administrative enhancements.

2016 has been a record sales year for LifeSecure. We do thank you, our distribution partners, for your contributions to this positive growth! With an increase in business, however, comes a higher volume of applications and more policies to issue, which has partially caused the unexpected delays.

Furthermore, the summer and early fall of 2016 mark an important transitionary period across many of LifeSecure's administrative and service functions, as we continue to implement a number of changes that will improve the way we do business. For example, we are:

  • Making further investments in technology solutions to better streamline our underwriting.
  • Strengthening our underwriting and claims workflows and related work processes.
  • Investing in our Agent and Policyholder Services teams, including several new hires, to provide more personal support in all aspects of these areas.

Please know that these enhancements are focused on making it easier for you to do business with LifeSecure and helping us deliver an exceptional insurance experience to you and your clients. Again, we sincerely apologize for the extra wait times. We recognize that such delays are inconvenient, and sometimes frustrating, for both you and your clients.

We ask for your patience as we fully implement these changes. We will soon be back to the level of speed and service that you expect from LifeSecure!
