What you don't know about me:

My last name is actually pronounced "VEEK." I have a cat named Willie Nelson. I met my wife on a blind date and we now have a son and daughter.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I'm a rare combination of both. I get up with the chickens but I like to stay up late with the owls. Due to being raised on a farm, I wake up early by nature. If I had to choose, I'd say I'm slightly more of a early bird.

What is the last TV show you binge-watched?

I have recently binge-watched my top 3 all-time favorite shows: Threes Company, The Beverly Hillbillies and Justified.

Favorite book, author or podcast:

My favorite book is "Time On The Water" by Bill Gardner. I enjoy reading books about a few topics including Muskie fishing, football, baseball, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings.

Favorite hobby/interests:

I enjoy Muskie fishing, slow pitch softball, turkey hunting, deer hunting and coaching little league baseball. I'm a huge sports fan, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers. I root for the Wisconsin Badgers first and foremost but I am a huge college football enthusiast, watching numerous teams & conferences.

Guilty pleasure:

TV shows about Bigfoot/Sasquatch, as well as the various ghost hunting shows on TV. Social media is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, as well.

On my bucket list:

Catching a 50" Muskie, catching a Muskie from Canadian waters, visiting Norway and playing softball long enough to play at least one season with my son
