Reduced Underwriting The LifeSecure program offers Simplified Underwriting (SI) which is unique to the employees and actively-at-work spouses of North Central College. SI is considerably less underwriting than what you could obtain on the individual marketplace.
Discounted Rates The LifeSecure program offers discounted gender neutral pricing. Coverage obtained outside of your employer will be gender rated meaning females, on average, will pay around 25-30% more for the same coverage.
New Hire Eligibility Eligible new hires will have 90 days from their date of hire to apply with simplified underwriting. If an application is submitted after 90 days, full medical underwriting must be completed.
