Yes Resident - Producers licensed to sell LTC insurance products in Vermont after March 31, 2010, must complete a one-time initial 8-hour NAIC LTC training course before they can sell, solicit, or negotiate LTC Products. 2 hours must contain Vermont-specific information including Vermont Medicaid information Non-Resident Producers: Producers who have completed another state’s qualified LTCP course will need to complete a 2-hour Vermont specific Medicaid course. This is a one time only requirement and no renewal is required. Please note that currently CA, CT, DC, DE, HI, IN, MS and NY are not reciprocal with Vermont |

4 hour Refresher course must be done within 24 months of the previous training. |
Annuity |
To sell Annuity products, Annuity and Best Interest training is required as well as Product Training with both Global Atlantic and OneAmerica. Requirements and rules vary by state.
