# Join us July 17 for WA Cares Basics: What Employers Need to Know webinar 

 

Join us for the latest updates on the state’s long-term care insurance program and learn more about employer responsibilities. Our WA Cares Basics: What Businesses Need to Know webinar will take place **July 17 from  11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.**

The webinar will cover:

- Who contributes to the fund
- Who can get an exemption and how employers should manage exemptions
- How to manage premium withholding and quarterly reporting
- How workers will meet contribution requirements, including a pathway for near-retirees
- What benefits will be available for workers, including portable benefits for people who leave the state

Get your questions answered and find out where to go for more resources for businesses and workers. There will also be an opportunity for audience Q&A. Live captioning and ASL interpretation will be available.
