We apologize for any inconvenience.     **Monthly FAQ: ****Can I apply to become a registered provider?** We are registering qualified providers to offer covered long-term services and supports to eligible beneficiaries starting in July 2026 and applications are open. Registered providers who offer services in pilot counties or statewide can participate in the pilot. Learn more about [provider registration](https://wacaresfund.wa.gov/providers).     **Rulemaking** WA Cares rules can be found under chapter 388-116 WAC. A[new rule](https://wacaresfund.wa.gov/media/1011) related to the pilot will go into effect on Dec. 9. A [public hearing](https://www.dshs.wa.gov/sesa/rules-and-policies-assistance-unit/december-23-2025) is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Dec. 23 to discuss a proposed rule related to beneficiary reimbursements during the pilot.
