Access interest rates effective Oct. 15

Effective Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, some OneAmerica® Care Solutions interest rates are changing. Annuity Care®, Annuity Care II and Indexed Annuity Care® new money rates are increasing. 

All other rates remain unchanged. New rates for Annuity Care, Annuity Care II and Indexed Annuity Care are listed below.
 

The new rates will be as follows: 
 
Annuity Care
LTC fund: 3.70%
Cash fund: 2.00%

Annuity Care II
LTC accumulated value: 3.70%
Accumulated value: 2.00%

Indexed Annuity Care
Point-to-point Cap: 3.00%
Point-to-point Par: 25.00%
Monthly average Cap: 3.20%
Monthly average Par: 50.00%
Fixed account: 1.80%
 
Guaranteed Interest Rate increasing Oct. 15

Beginning Oct. 15, 2018, the Guaranteed Interest Rate will increase from 1.40% to 1.55% for new issues of the following products:
  • Indexed Annuity Care – In all states where this product is sold.
  • Annuity Care II – In Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Wisconsin only. The new rate applies to both the base and LTC accumulated values.

Most Beneficial Rate: Indexed Annuity Care offers your clients the opportunity to receive the best declared interest (or cap, or par) rate available between the date their application is received in the Home Office, and the effective date of the contract, if fully funded within 60 days of application. This feature is intended as an easy-to-do-business provision to provide you and your clients the peace of mind to know that they can receive the best declared rates during the application process. Annuity Care also offers this feature for 1035/transfer monies only.
