On April 13, 2026, Nationwide is introducing Nationwide CareMatters® II to the state of New York, a linked-benefit solution with more features than the original Nationwide YourLife® CareMatters. 

CareMatters II offers more accessibility, a broader appeal, expanded features, and more opportunities for you to help your clients. Most importantly, CareMatters II continues our strong cash indemnity story – helping clients pay for their care the way they want it: in a familiar environment, be it in their own home or in their community.

Please note, the CareMatters II paperwork and interview are different from YourLife CareMatters. 

Important dates for CareMatters® II New York launch:

April 13, 2026 - Ability to begin quoting CareMatters® II and CareMatters® II applications available

May 4, 2026 - Application deadline for YourLife CareMatters®

June 30, 2026 - Funding deadline for YourLife CareMatters®
