Mutual of Omaha New Business Enhancement

At Mutual of Omaha, we value your feedback on process improvement.  As a result, the LTC New Business team has enhanced amendment processing on submitted applications.  The following changes will go into effect on May 1, 2018.

  • If your client’s application is missing information or has information that needs to be changed prior to issue, most changes can now be submitted via email or phone call.  Application information submitted in this manner will require an amendment to be signed and dated by the client upon delivery of the policy.  (Application changes submitted prior to policy issue will still be accepted but will need to be both dated and initialed to avoid an amendment.)
  • Your Case Manager will send an email notification to the designated contact on the application when the policy is issued. The email will outline any outstanding amendments, and the case manager will send a follow-up communication near the expiration of the delivery period.  If the amendment is not resolved within 60 days from policy issue, the policy will be taken out of force.

Any issued amendments will be included with the policy issue kit.  If you have any questions on amendments, please get in touch with your case manager or call the New Business Hotline at 800-275-5528.  Amendments can be directed to Mutual of Omaha via any of the options below.
