New National Center for Health Statistics study shows snapshot of LTC in 2013

As we know, long-term care involves much more than nursing homes.  But how much more?  A new study from the National Center for Health Statisitics looked at the 58,000 separate LTC providers in America and split them into 5 categories - adult day care, home health agency, nursing home, hospice and residential care facility (assisted living).

The report shows regional differences in care as well as differences in care by age.  When planning for care, knowing what is available is important.
